Current Status & Community Response

The Mayfield-Graves County Long Term Recovery Group (MGC LTRG) has activated to collect damage reports and requests for assistance following the August, 2026 storms. Our priority is ensuring that all survivors, regardless of how big or small the impact, are connected to the help they need. Here we will share updates on recovery resources, a link to request disaster assistance, and other updates.

Lost Important Documents in the Storm? Here’s How to Replace Them

If you lost important documents in the recent storms, you’re not alone. Replacing things like IDs, insurance papers, and birth certificates can feel overwhelming, but we’re here to help. Below is a simple guide to getting your documents back as quickly as possible.

The Red Cross may be offering emergency shelter, food, health services, and cleanup kits for those impacted by the April storms.


Check availability of services or register for assistance. Financial assistance may be available for residents of homes that had more than 18+ inches of water in the home

TREE & DEBRIS REMOVAL

Graves County Fiscal Court Notice
 

Graves County County Road Department will be offering a Tree Debris Drop-Off Site for residents needing to dispose of tree limbs and tree debris only. If you have any questions please contact the Graves County Road Dept 270-247-5805.
 

Important Information:

  • Trees & tree debris only. No household waste. No construction debris.

  • Residents must unload their own material. No Tree Contractors allowed at this site.

  • Location: East Pittman Road (signs will be in place to direct traffic)

  • Hours of Operation: Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM-6:00 PM & Saturday: 7:00 AM-3:00 PM

Mayfield Limb Pickup

Instructions: Place limbs out by the street at your convenience. Limbs need to be no larger than approximately 4" in diameter and 6' in length.

Next Limb Pickup: September 14th-18th for the south side of town & September 21st-25th for the north side of town.  Broadway is the "dividing line" for north and south within the city.
